2nd Int`l Family Fellowship launched a music band

The 2nd English Sunday Service , International Family Fellowship was successfully held last Nov.19,2023 at Hachioji Peace Center where 80 individuals participate which was also aired for the first time on Youtube for Tama Region church members audience.

Rev. Satoshi iida, Director of International Family Department of FFWPU Japan, was the main speaker who delivered a wonderful and inspiring message with the title " There is Spring without Winter ." Remia Martin Watanabe and Alfredo Bong Jarap were the masters of ceremony.

The highlight of the fellowship was the debut of the first ever newly formed HJ Ocean Band by Filjap East District composing of 1st and 2nd Gen, Sarang Margate(vocal), daughter of bro. Part Margate ( Lead Guitar ), Keito Matsubara (Bass Guitar) son of bro. Bong Jarap , Arkinlouie Dirige ( Drums) son of bro. Brian Dirige , Pedrito Boy Navarro (Piano Keyborads) and Jonell Pascua( Guitar and back-up vocal). They covered and offered the beautiful famous christian song "Where Feet May Fail "(Oceans) that brought life to the fellowship. We are looking forward to seeing them perform again in the next fellowships and other church events.

Also among the participants was a surprise guest, Marcel Jonte Gadsden, pastor of Japan Kingdom Church, an influential speaker, an author and a musician who played the piano and shared his amazing voice at the end of the fellowship.

The next upcoming fellowship which was originally scheduled on Dec.17 was cancelled and moved to January instead due to another multi-cultural christmas festival event on December 24 in Hachioji Church.

Our special thanks to all the staffs engaged in the planning and prepartion . It was an exciting and challenging journey of experience from planning the program concept to actual practicing songs of praise equivalent to organizing a major event.

A simple birthday celebration for month of November celebrants was held at the cafe area where brothers and sisters enjoyed the moments of bonding.
