Guide to 2023 May Events in Cheongpyeong

This is a reference to guide you in advance for the May events that will be held in Cheongpyeong, Korea. Itinerary, registration and accommodation details are not provided by IHQ yet. This page will be updated from time to time according to IHQ direction, so please visit this same page for prompt updates.

May 5, 2023 : Dedication of Cheon Won Gun

May 6-7 , 2023 : Hyojeong CheonBo Great Works commemorating the 63rd Anniversary of true Parents' Holy Wedding

May 7 , 2023 : 2023 Hyojeong Cosmic Blessing Festival/ Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day Registration Blessing / True Mother's Blessing Prayer

Related Schedule

March 26 - May 4 (40 days) : Between this period, a CheonBo Holy Wine Ceremony will be held. ( to be scheduled in every region to be participated in local venues and via online. Further details will be announced). This is an extension of the “Special Grace for CheonBo Registration in the Era of the Firm Establishment of Cheon Il Guk” to Blessed Families and members throughout the world who were unable to attend the Special Grace of due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This is pre-requisite to participating True Mother's Blessing Prayer on May 7,2023.

NOTE:

• Events can either be attended in person or via internet through the live broadcast. However, as of this time, only candidates to the May 7,2023 Hyojeong Cosmic Blessing Festival are encouraged to prepare to go to Korea.

• No detailed direction from IHQ yet on the participation of overseas members to the Dedication of Cheon Won Gun

• Travel to Korea is individual arrangement other than those participating the HJ Cosmic Blessing

• There is a need to register in Japan website when participating the HJ Great Works and consult Japan office or local church directly when planning to go to Korea. Members are encouraged to particpate online as usual.

Travel Preparation Tips for those going to Korea are as follows :

Pre-Checklist :

1. Passport expiration - at least 3 months before departure

2. Availability around May 5-7 *tentative schedule , consider day before and after desired events to participate when planning

a. Applying visa for Korea Travel. Reservation is required this time!

Make reservation in advance but prior to setting a date for the appointment, you need to book a flight ticket and fill-up the application form provided in the website which you can download>>click here

c. Apply for a multiple visa instead of single (valid for 5 years… until 2027 ! )

d. Digital Visa when approved can be downloaded to be printed and shown at airport instead of stamp on the passport.

note : PCR is NOT needed when entering Korea , but be aware that PCR is needed on re-entry to Japan.
